I don't like the composition. Why tilted? does this add something more to the original one? I like the starred light, but the rest lack of particulars... which is the main subject in this picture?

You seem to have focused more on which settings to use in camera for the night shot instead of getting a composition that suits the purpose.

Try also to capture the night shot just after sun has set when there is more light in the sky to work with. Could be interesting but use a better judgement for what is a good night capture.

Water and ligth is good but have something else too in the composition and have it straight!
